Q: What approach does Cornerstone Organizing use when working with a client?
A: We begin with a Home Organizing Assessment. This is a 3-step process that results in a Plan of Action that serves as a road map to move forward in the organizing process. During subsequent visits we work with a client to put the plan into action and we do Hands-on organizing together.
Q: Will you make me throw all my stuff away?
A: No. We help you define and work toward achieving your goals. We will give you the tools to help you through the decision making process. Ultimately, you decide what to keep and what to disperse.
Q: How long will it take me to get organized?
A: Each situation is different. Factors to consider are:
1) The amount of stuff you have to organize.
2) How quickly you make decisions.
3) Health issues that impact your stamina or motivation.
Q: What do you charge?
A: There is a flat fee for your Home Organizing Assessment.
Package rates apply to Hands-on Organizing.
Q: What is your most popular work process?
A: A Home Organizing Assessment is essential during the first visit.
The most popular Hands-on Organizing package is the 4-hour visit.
Some clients choose to add hours on and work longer.
Q: How frequent are Hands-on Organizing visits scheduled?
A: That depends on the client. Some schedule multiple visits in a week, some choose to space visits once a week, bi-weekly, monthly or longer.
Q: How do I decide how often to schedule Hands-on Organizing visits?
A: Questions to consider are:
1) What is the completion date I have in mind?
2) How much will I realistically accomplish on my own?
3) What is my budget?
4) How important is it to accomplish my goal?
